Welcome to Everkeep Memorials. We are a family owned and operated company that make CNC machined, modern inspired cremation urns here in our Minneapolis, Minnesota shop. We have long had a family owned CNC machine shop making precision machined and fabricated parts for a wide range of customers. We have always had a passion for going beyond what is needed in making things so that they will last forever. We design and manufacture our urns so that they are something you want to keep displayed instead of hidden away. And that is how we came up with Everkeep for the name!
It was in 2016 when we lost our dog Lucy, who was our first fur baby and crazy for tennis balls, that got me searching for that something special that really captured a part of who she was. We wanted something other than the cardboard box from the veterinarian. And we couldn’t find what we wanted. This dog was special to us. A member of the family for almost 15 years. So I started playing around with designs for her cremation urn. I explored shapes like some of the capsule shapes of our current designs, but ultimately settled on one that looked like a tennis ball. It took several attempts to finally get it right, but it was worth it. We keep her at home as we know she’s always with us.
After making Lucy’s urn, we had requests from friends and family members to make cremation urns for their loved ones. I realized that so many traditional urns just look like, well, urns. They don’t fit with contemporary home decor. We decided we needed to change up how cremation urns are thought of in the minds of most people. We continually work on different designs that don’t scream cremation urn. We don’t want you to put it in a closet or room where it won’t be noticed. Why on earth would you pick a cremation urn only to hide it away? A memorial should be on display where you can see it everyday and celebrate the life and memories of your loved one.
